Monica del Sol Reef Resort was first established in 2012 and continuously developed by the Lozada family until today. It is located at Cagwait, Surigao del Sur.
The long shorelines of Cagwait, including Monica del Sol, served as a simple place for family outings and get-together by the locals of Cagwait and of Surigao del Sur nearby municipalities. Later in 2012, the Lozada family decided to establish a resort decorated with state-of-the-art facilities and amenities in a progressive type of development.
